Sometimes you just have to accept fact you aren’t going to put an end to old (and downright fun) habits. “Overwatch” is that old habit for me… And I’m not mad at it!
Battle royales like “Apex Legends,” “Fortnite” and “Warzone” have run their course. Too sweaty and honestly boring af. Plus, free-to-play games such as those are just low effort and skin money-grabs. Time to move on from those titles.
In the end it’s always back to “Overwatch,” a game that runs really well, looks great and offers a formidable challenge. Game wasn’t created to generate boat loads of money off skins. Sure, there are loot boxes, but whatever. Blizzard truly cared about the player having fun when they made “Overwatch” instead of separating the player from their wallet. Hard to say that about other Blizz games, however.
6v6 action at it’s best! Can’t recall another game that feels as balanced as this gem.
A warm/delicious soup stirs the same emotions as playing “Overwatch.” Timeless game that I will be returning to over and over again. There’s nothing quite like it. So I’ve accepted it! I’ll be the one sucking down coffee and playing as Mercy. AND likely stuck in bronze.
