Hate it when game fatigue comes crashing down on a player.
Maybe it’s the overwhelming library of games of the back burner or two many hours into a favorite title, at some point all the fun comes to a grinding halt. No matter the reasoning, it happens to all of us. There’s only a few ways to do a hard reset to make things enjoyable again. Let’s take a peek.
Take a Break
This one is easy. Your parents likely said this to you a million times. Old classic works like a charm though.
When games are getting frustrating, just take a break. Step back from the madness for a few days and let your fried brain take a much needed respite. Reuniting with your preferred gaming system after a nice hiatus will make it feel like Christmas Day. Hooray.
Switch Up Games
Story time: I played literally way too much “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” recently. Absolutely suffered from game fatigue. Decided to switch it up. Enter “Ghost of Tsushima.”
“Tsushima” totally shifted my world view of games just long enough to reset my body for more “CoD.” Now, I’m happily playing “CoD” again. Happy ending.
Watch a Stream
Open up Twitch or Mixer (JK, RIP), find your favorite streamer, enjoy the gameplay from a player much better than you.
Watching a stream will give you inspiration to at least white knuckle out a few more bonus rounds with the boys and girls. Sometimes that’s all it takes. Bonus rounds tend to rekindle the enjoyment factor and banish the aforementioned game fatigue. But yeah, anyway.
Game fatigue is no fun. So bless up. One last thing, buy some G Fuel and get geeked on G Fuel. That always helps.
