“Persona 5” is taunting me boys.
The weeb favorite represents my extensive collection of games. It’s sitting on my work desk, directly in front of me. There’s no missing or avoiding it. The weight of that unopened game is immeasurable.
Is anyone else stressing about their backlog? Great deals can’t be passed over, so owning a ton of games just happens. When a highly acclaimed title is 75% off it’s original price, typically $60 bucks, it’s near impossible not to bite. But at what cost? Could this huge library of games unravel my brain noodles? Make a little ramen with my central cortex. In the words of “Fight Club”: “The things you own end up owning you.”
Games as obligations, not a pleasant thought. Damn you backlog…and unopened “Persona 5” game that continues to rile me up. One of these days I’ll get around to playing it. Certainly not today, definitely not tomorrow and most confidently not next week. Lol.
